Road Test Review – 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre – Rolls Silently Enters The EV Age

It wasn’t too long ago that if you either walked into a Rolls Royce showroom or an owners group and asked for an EV, chances are good that you would have the same reaction as the Daleks did in this clip from the BBC series Doctor Who. However, the automotive market is changing and even Rolls Royce has been forced to make some changes to try and adapt to the new normal. The Rolls Royce Cullinan helped the brand enter the SUV market, and the 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre is silently pushing the brand into the EV age. Seductive Styling Makes …

But the gloves are now off, and Rolls Royce has finally unveiled its entry into the EV wars, the 2023 Rolls Royce Spectre.   The Spectre Is A Prelude To A New Era While the 2023 Rolls Royce SPectre continues the long-running tradition of being named after various aspects of the paranormal, …

Rolls Royce is rolling the dice in the SUV segment with the 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge. When The Cullinan first appeared in 2019, it rewrote the definition of the pinnacle in luxury automobiles. It wasn’t long ago that owning a Phantom or even a Ghost sedan signified that you made it in the world. Still, with SUV demand rising globally, the British ultra-luxury carmaker knew it had to adapt to rapidly changing times. 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud Honeymoon Express – Crown Opus For Freestone and Webb Coachbuilders

Freestone & Webb was one of the most prolific coachbuilders of its time – winning dozens of awards and working with a dozen brands during its run from 1923 to around 1958. This Silver Cloud I in sporty, two-door style is an extravagant and lavish masterpiece — perhaps the defining achievement of the firm’s run in the coachbuilt car business. This 42,000-mile example in Mason’s Black is quite something in person. It is huge, first off. Secondly, the flowing trunkline sinks slowly down toward the back bumper — creating the classic ‘leaned back’ stance of many legendary Rolls-Royces. But …

1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Shooting Brake

RM Arizona 2015 Preview – 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Shooting Brake

There is something sublimely humble and useful about a Rolls-Royce Shooting Brake woody. The proportions are all about decadent luxury, with a huge dash of usefulness in the giant trunk making this a true grand tourer — in a family-plus-dogs-plus-luggage sense! So why a woody Rolls? The wood cabin and wagon shape meant it was possible to make just a few examples – and skip the huge metal stamping investments that a steel cabin would require. The low and lean style of this ultra-long Phantom II Shooting Brake defined elegant family travel for many decades to come. 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom …

717HP SPOFEC Rolls-Royce Wraith Upgrades Are All-New From Novitec Group

More power, more exclusivity and more visual impact on the stunning Rolls-Royce Wraith? Yes please! SPOFEC is the latest marque-specific offering from Germany’s Novitec Group. What is the name? It means SPirit OF ECstacy — and this is the second model after the Ghost to benefit from these cool and functional overhauls. Our favorite elements? The engine power chip, air suspension controls to lower the car on command, and an exhaust sportifier to do the same with the 7170horsepower, 986-pound-feet of torque from the pipes in back. We love the styling upgrades as well. The dark wheels and full gloss-black …

Update1 – Superlux Style VOTE! Mansory Bentley Flying Spur vs. Mansory Rolls-Royce Wraith

These two are both pretty outrageous expressions of UHNWI style and personalization. The colors and trims shown here are not the ‘limit’ of Mansory’s abilities. Moreover, they are the opening salvo. You can have anything your mind can dream up on a Mansory custom. The refinements are pretty extensive outside, inside and under the skins of this Wraith and Flying Spur. The Wraith with a matte-effect silver on the grille and upper body is actually pretty interesting in contrast to the super-metallic sheen of the painted surfaces. Before Pebble Beach automotive week, we decided on these pages that a Mansory luxury car might be the ideal ride to a show like this.
