5 Things to Know About the 2024 Kia EV6 GT

1. It’s fast.
The numbers are gargantuan – press the neon green GT button on the wheel, and it calls up 576 horsepower and 545 lb.-ft of torque. 0-60 mph in a jaw-dropping 3.4 seconds!

2. Range is up for 2024
Anything that reduces range anxiety is good by us. The GT is now rated at an EPA-estimated 218 miles of all-electric range – an improvement of 12 miles over the 2023 EV6 GT. Not the furthest, but certainly livable.

3. It even charges fast
With a 350 kW DC fast charger, you go from 10-80% battery charge in just 18 minutes. A traditional 50 kW DC fast charger will do the same in about 73 minutes. The few times we juiced our tester we were delighted how quickly it was able to charge.

4. It’s luxurious
Where the 640 horsepower Hyundai Ioniq 5 N we recently tested was designed for track-capable duty, the EV6 is much more aimed at the road. With an eerily smooth and silent ride, and loads of interior room, it is an excellent Grand Tourer in every sense of the word.

5. 2025 Models get some nice tweaks
Not yet available at dealerships, the 2025 model reportedly gets a styling facelift, upgraded interior and improved tech. Might be worth the wait.
