It is automotive wrap fest today!
These Cam Shaft customs are very eye-popping. They bring some favorite and iconic racing liveries to life on Porsche 911s in a very well-executed way.
The funny thing about Gulf colors, in particular, is a joke I heard while visiting the GT40 factory of Superformance Olhoff Racing in April.
They quipped, “We have made more Gulf GT40’s than Gulf ever did!”
Thanks to the latest tech in wrapping, a two-color paintwork effect is no longer the perview of Wraith of Maybach customers. It was previously so expensive and exclusive because it meant the car had to go through the entire paint shop twice – doubling the time in the boothes, curing rooms, buffing and inspections afterward.
Granted, though repainting at the factory is pricey – they could never achievet he results seen here.
The amazing graphics shown include a customization on the Martini theme, plus a full Gulf makeover for the 911 Turbo. With quality comes the price – and these are not cheap. Pricing is about $7,000 for a full workover as shown here.
The 997 GT3 with a new outfit by CAM SHAFT
Not important what to do, full-scale or partial car wrapping, coating protection foilings, car styling themes or sportive car foiling – in all five mentioned areas, the CAM SHAFT team from Kempen on the Lower Rhine is the best of all, so that this team has become one of the most requested car stylists in matters of foiling technics. The brand CAM SHAFT guarantees for quality largely beyond the borders of this land.
In the present case, the Kempen foiling specialists have given a Porsche 997 GT3 a completely new outfit. At first to be mentioned the full-scale foil covering in pearly white for 2.400 Euro. Another 900 Euro must be added for the individually customized Martini racing design, which runs, beginning in the front under a headlight, mounting upwards at the car door over the top to descend on the other side downwards. Herein, imagination and fantasy are (nearly) without any limits.
Things that are in many cases not even self-evident, are for CAM SHAFT almost regularity, namely the foil wrapping of the car entrances and the visible door edges. By the way, this after all essential necessity demands another 750 Euro. But the result reached by foiling is really great.
Before the outfit change of the 3rd generation of this GT3 racing car , there was made a CAM SHAFT in-house PP performance engine optimization, enhancing the engine performance from 415 PS (= 305 kW) up to 435 PS (= 320 kW), demanding another 1.899 Euro. Furthermore, CAM SHAFT recommends to use v 3 KW coilovers – in order to enhance the driving dynamics.
And finally, the original GT3 rims for a price of 480 Euro in matt black powder-coated by AG-Felgenveredlung Krefeld, rim ennobler and cooperation partner, round out the whole picture.
