How awesome is this (homage) McLaren M8B High Wing Go-Kart?
The detail-work is remarkably accurate (for a toy…), down to that desirable McLaren Orange paintwork and the white tire stencils to match period racing rubber.
The kart is not intended as a racer — which makes sense considering it was created only for kid-sized individuals. It is more of piece of art, a conversation starter, or a piece of wall decor to crave.
Originally built for an owner of many, many original McLarens, the M8B (M8K?) kart is now in transition and is for sale to the highest bidder. Located in Atlanta, there is said to be interest in the artful machine from the local McLaren retailer.
Priced from $14,000, the M8 “K” can be yours today. But act fast – one-of-a-kind tributes to the rare McLaren M8 cars do not come around very often.
This example was built lovingly by Casey Putsch of Putsch Racing.

I will take a kid-sized Porsche 917 Kart, if Mr. McCanless is taking bids for future fun-sized projects… =]

M8K for sale in Atlanta for $14,000
Special thanks for Mr. McCanless – whose family runs around in cars like the Mercedes-Benz 190D rally car and Kelmark seen below. Pretty amazing stuff.
