2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S – Colors, Wheels and Options Visualizer

Considering how obsessed we are with the new AMG GT, it is somewhat surprising not to have explored the configurator yet. First observations: they are all gorgeous!

Barely a bad style combo to be found — and some excellent ones hiding in the styling pack options. Semi surprising is that the AMG GT-S is the base model. No regular GT is available stateside, just the top power model. Base pricing is from $129,000 — which feels like exceptional value for such a super-wide and ultra-low machine.

Whatever combo you pick among the six wheels, eleven colors and numerous options… you are in for a treat.

Three upgrades to the standard look are available: the Carbon pack, AMG Night Styling Pack and the AMG Silver Chrome Styling pack. They all change the look fairly dramatically.

The optional panoramic glass roof is a must-select, as is the AMG Dynamic Plus package. This broadens the power band and adds more incisive performance settings.

Color and wheel wise, the choice is yours of course! We loved the blue in Amelia Island, but the Solarbeam Yellow is clearly beautiful and eye-popping. This bright yellow is the pricest paint color choice — adding nearly $10k to the price. The other paints are all around $1000 extra, including the Designo special colors.

With an all-in price of about $150k, there is no doubt that the new AMG GT is up to the task for supercar shoppers. This is a fantastic upgrade from a 911 Turbo or Audi R8, but more practical and easier to drive daily than a Lambo, McLaren or 488 GTB.

Decisions for a racy two-door have never been harder!
