DODGE M80 CONCEPT WORLD DEBUT — DETROIT Ð January 7, 2002ÑDaimlerChrysler Senior Vice President, Design Trevor Creed took the wraps off of the Dodge M80 concept during the truck’s world-debut for media at the North American International Auto Show today. Based on the Dodge Dakota frame with independent short-and-long-arm front suspension and a solid axle with leaf springs in the rear, M80 incorporates a high percentage of existing DaimlerChrysler components. Power domes from Chrysler Group’s all-new 3.7-liter V-6 engine coupled to a carryover 5-speed manual transmission and 4×4 transfer case.
