Update —
Originally published in November, when I foolishly included over 350MB of images on one web page. That leads to a lousy user experience, shockingly! With slow pages, browser crashes and other issues.
We are learning, however, and improving.
The compressed images do not lose too too much quality when shrunk from 5MB each down to 1MB each — but you will like them better because it will not crash the entire Internet. =]
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 3LT is poised to be the absolute hottest sports car for 2014: pricing just below $70,000, carbon-fiber galore, and even the handy targa roof panel that stows in the trunk.
During our chance to test out this incredible car, we were astounded by its amazing chassis rigidity, vastly improved touch points all around, and the easy performance on offer.
Even after driving a Viper and a few other tasty machines, the pure joy of hearing the Corvette howl through its vocal range is deeply memorable.
Please enjoy these photos in (compressed!) high-resolution glory.
