The 2014 Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo might be a favorite from both Mercedes as well as the GT concept series.
On the concept showcase lawn of Pebble Beach, the car is nothing short of breathtaking.
This is a true design concept – its gigantic wheel/tire package is actually just decorative. This big machine was unloaded from its flatbed on special rollers under the car, and moved into place manually by a half-dozen men.
Even as a static showcase, however, the ideas are very influential on the next generation of Mercedes AMG sports cars. The AMG GT will be the first recipient of this new nose and tail design, as well as the organic and hyper-flowing surface treatment. It is lovely and a big hit with showgoers — which bodes well for the production versions.
