Hyundai’s next-gen 2026 Palisade is shaping up to be a key player for the Korean car giant with the company already shipping the next-gen SUV to buyers in its home South Korean market. For now, buyers in the U.S. had to make do with the current generation model which is currently holding down the fort for the company in terms of sales. That’s now changing, with Hyundai confirming it will be unveiling the U.S. spec version of the SUV at the New York Auto Show.
Next-gen Palisade will have the U.S. in its sights
With the company already showing off the exterior and interior of the Paliasade back when it made its debut in South Korea, the only changes we might see are very minor ones designed to help the SUV comply with U.S. safety and crash standards. As a result, look for the core styling to carry over with the SUV getting a revamped front end and a rear end that appears to borrow some of its inspiration from European models like the Range Rover.
The interior is also heavily revamped with certain Palisade trim levels blurring the boundary between themselves and Genesis offerings when it comes to tech and the interior materials used in them. The dashboard has a rounder shape and the SUV gets the latest version of Hyundai’s infotainment software for an improved user experience. Hyundai has also kept physical controls for most of the switchgear and the company has said in the past that it will continue to provide analog controls for its models moving forward.
When can I buy one?
The company will bring the 2026 Palisade to the New York Auto Show on April 16th with the company also providing a livestream of the broadcast for those who are unable to attend in person. Hyundai didn’t reveal when the 2026 Palisade will go on sale but look for that information to be revealed at its debut with the associated wait not being as long as some folks think.
