Lincoln Teases 2025 Navigator, Light Up Grille Shines The Way

The Lincoln Navigator continues to be the brand’s flagship and while it’s currently on the backfoot when it comes to sales, it’s still a potent contender in the full-size luxury SUV segment. Lincoln is out to prove that the 2025 Navigator still has plenty of tricks up its sleeve and has teased the 2025 model ahead of its August 15th debut.

Lighting and luxury continue to be Navigator themes

The brief teaser video that Lincoln released didn’t reveal too many details, but it appears to confirm that the 2025 Gator will get a wider front grille with a new illuminated element that runs across the center of the grille piece. This new illuminated slat compliments the existing light-up emblem and should give the SUV a distinct presence at night. There are also other revisions that the exterior is slated to get but we have to wait until Lincoln chooses to release more details to get a better grasp of what other changes are in store for the outside.

In the meantime, the video also confirms that the interior will be redesigned with the ignition button and the piano-style keys for the shifter being relocated to the center console while the steering wheel gets a cleaner look and the dashboard also gets updates. Look for the setup to be somewhat similar to the Lincoln Nautilus with the Navigator perhaps being the most expressive model in the range when it comes to its use of screens and materials. There’s no word what’s under the hood either, but look for the Gator to continue getting its motivation from a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 440 hp when equipped to the 2024 model. The 10-speed automatic will also most likely be carried over too.

When will we see the 2025 Navigator?

Lincoln says that it will be unveiling the 2025 Lincoln Navigator on August 15th with the SUV making its way to dealer lots as an early 2025 model. It remains to be seen if the SUV can claw back ground against its chief rival, the Cadillac Escalade with that model also getting a refresh and an all-electric version in the near future to help expand its drag net of customers further.
