2021 Chevy Trailblazer Video Reviews By Matt Barnes

Chevy re-released the Trailblazer as a 2021 model year crossover. It is available with a pair of 3-cylinder turbo power plants, and has optional AWD. Our test model was a 2021 Trailblazer AWD Activ model.

The new Trailblazer is a much smaller package than the previous generation which was a body on frame SUV. Becoming a small crossover with a unibody frame has completely changed the Trailblazer from what it used to be. It now handles fairly well and has a very stiff chassis. The engines are all new for this year first debuting in the Buick Encore GX.

The base price for this trim level with AWD is $26,900, but our tester was equipped with three additional packages:

Technology package ($1,720):Wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Infotainment 3 plus, wireless charging, adaptive cruise control, memory car receptacle, LED headlamps, HD radio, 4.2” multi-color driver information center, Bose premium 7-speaker system, and HD rear vision camera.

Convenience package ($620): single zone automatic air conditioning, auto dimming insdie rearview mirror, illuminated vanity mirrors in visors, 120-volt power outlet, SiriusXM radio, and rear USB A & C charge ports.

Driver confidence package ($345): Rear park assist, rear cross traffic alert, and lane change alert with side blind zone alert.

The total price including the destination charge for our media loan was $30,580.
