Not only is the livery gorgeous but the condition of the vehicle is all original, and truly exceptional for a car that did LeMans for two years in the 1980s. A race that usually only the winners leave intact…!
Those hubs in a rusty gold are not in fact rusty but are made of NASA-spec magnesium/titanium alloy, which is naturally that color.
Was surprised to see Yokohama tires on the 750HP racer… until noticing they were an official sponsor of the vehicle. Makes slighty more sense now!
