First look at the upcoming 2015 SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo!
This latest installment of the VGT series is a fantasy concept created and engineered for racing in Gran Turismo on PlayStation — but is also a solid look into the dream wishlist of the SRT performance and design teams.
Only a few official images so far, but what we see is a stunning track car that features adaptive aerodynamics with a massive rear wing, side flap air brakes, and numerous other delicious details. Five giant exhaust pipes in the center of the Tomahawk’s tail hint at some kind of forced induction, perhaps even a supercharged V10. Combining the 8.4-liter displacement of the Viper’s V10 with the Hellcat’s supercharged tech could result in outputs exceeding 1000-horsepower.
Even the Hellcat’s engine as it is makes 707HP on the street cars, a jump of 70 ponies over the production Viper.
Atop that mountain of gasoline-made power, SRT notes that the Tomahawk is a single-seater with hybrid assistance, likely on the front axle.
Check the teaser trailer below for a high-drama sneak peak of the car in action, plus the official FCA info release.
Past VGT teaser timing suggests that the Tomahawk will go live early this week — watch this space for all the details!
