If one Aventador Roadster is shockingly loud, low and wide when you meet it in real life… imagine a string of a six blasting around your block for two days straight!
Heavenly? Yes. These beasts are truly incredible in the flesh. The candy-colored paints here add a bit of light-hearted fun to what is really the benchmark supercar. Thrills, chills and only a half-million-dollar bill!? Sign me up.
The Aventador Roadster is a nice mid-way point before stumping up to the real hypercar heroes — each costing well in excess of a million bucks.
Lamborghini has made the Aventador Roadster a perfectly usable choice – with the available hardtop seen on the red and blue cars, while the soft-top is present on the green. The only difference visually is that the soft-top is a matte finish fabric, while the hard-top is gloss black carbon-fiber.
The looks of the machine in Roadster form are also very cool and fresh, with that unique engine-cover design and the flying buttress pillars adding drama to an already-intense street presence.
So, which color to choose!? The black is too subtle for its own good, hiding much of the yummy design details. The green here is pretty light – much lighter than the Mantis green shown on a Huracan nearby. That leaves us with electric blue or dark orange. Blue it is!
Please enjoy these 103 all-new photos from Amelia Island. They are best viewed in sequence as a slide-show – especially for the fly-around view of the green car.
