Very eager to share my newest supercar crush!
If the 1997 Lexus GS400’s ad tagline was ‘Something Wicked This Way Comes,’ then the IS-F’s should be:
“Once bitten, forever smitten…”
I have been taking photos and video almost all day since the IS-F arrived in the driveway!
An instant bond with the Lexus IS-F has lured me out to the driveway thrice to run ‘errands’ over and over. Such is the instant bond with this intense flood of brute Lexus power that we even ventured out to do a risque sunset photo shoot.
Nighttime photos are a serious challenge for any this automotive snapper – especially with a car’s lights on and avoiding a flash effect. This is the reason that most of the best LED DRL photos are, in fact, taken during the daytime. Digitally making things darker is cleaner than the other way around.
So it was a gamble heading to the boat slip right as the sun turned orange and slunk low into the sky.
But two things brought us there:
— if even one of the photos is sexy and colorful and darkly appealing on this white stunner, it would be worthwhile.
— Plus, a 20-min drive in the IS-F each way? Yes. YES! More places to downshift the IS-F and feel the huge Lexus V8 purrrr-roar to the heavens!
Please stay tuned for an in-depth review of this outstanding four-door supercar in the coming week or so. I’m nearly cross-eyed with delight at how fast and planted the IS-F is at all times. On to the photos!
There are definitely a few good ones. More than half hit the delete box — so back out we will go tomorrow night at sunset. And maybe sunrise?
F-yea!
