With the previous post showing the Porsche 911 GT3 in all its high-res glory, now is time to make some choices.
Tough choices – like what color your new Porsche lover will take, how much leather is in the cabin, and how posh you want your GT3’s headlights to be.
My choices are outlined explicitly below, and view-able the Porsche configurator. You can work backward from these choices to make it your own, or start from scratch.
Here are the six most critical options to select, in my opinion:
— Fanciest LED headlight option
(This is open to debate. The bi-xenon lights might, in fact, be brighter than the LED lights. The bi-xenon lights are dark-tinted and look cooler, in my opinion.
I would definitely skip the clear tail-light option.)
— Extended Range Fuel Tank. Definitely.
— Front axle lift (for driveways and speedbumps)
— 18-way sport seats
— Upgraded nav/HD radio/speakers
— Sport Chrono pack
For maximum cabin glamour and personalization via color, nearly every single surface can be optioned in leather. Everything?
Yes. This includes the rear-view mirror (!) and the air vents.
While cool, this racks up thousands and thousands of extra dollars and will can lengthen your delivery time dramatically depending on the leather color you choose.

WHEELS
Exterior-wise, the GT3 comes as standard with matte-grey wheels, but these can be had in gloss black or a boring silver if you must. There is only one style offered.
For white and light-colored cars, the black wheels are great. But for the special “custom” colors, the grey wheels seem best.
If choosing white, definitely go for the metallic Carrara White, even though it looks a bit cream-colored in the visualizer.
It is not in real life; it just has a bit more sparkle than the base arctic white.
