600-horsepower from the new Challenger SRT’s supercharged Hellcat engine — all fired up and ready to roar into the record books with deliveries starting in late Summer 2014!
ENGINE START-UP AND REVS VIDEO
The coolest aspects of the new Challenger SRT are the Viper-inspired hood with extra breathing and venting ports, plus the hollow driver-side highbeam lamp – which delivers air right into the airbox of the Hellcat.
The interior is completely redesigned, with a much more comfortable-looking seating arrangement for the big SRT racing thrones. The infotainment is also far better, as are the new bi-xenon lights that run both high and low beams from the outer-most projector.
The quad rings of LEDs are a nice touch, but overall the car maintains the classic Challenger look for the new-generation models.
But the classic look will be far, far quicker for 2015 in the 392 or this SRT Hellcat — check out the Brembo brakes, Pirelli P-Zero tires and the enormous front chin spoiler for evidence of how quick and grippy the cars will be!
The 2015 Challenger will continue to offer a V6-engined SXT trim to kick things off with pricing in the mid-20s — while the new eight-speed automatic and launch control are expected to take the sprint times down considerably versus the current-gen cars in all engines and trims.
